Burnt server recovered

Some weeks ago we got the harddisks of this server in for recovery
The discs can be seen here beneeth:
6 sas discs from a raid 10
Although all discs were heavily burnt we could (thanks to the raid redundancy) recover all data !
2 disc of a raid 1
As you can see on the last picture, the plastic inside was already molten.
Plastic melts at a lower temperature than the temperature at which the magnetic field disappears. Difference is not big however.
We managed to get this disk working, and we are now cloning the data. So far we only got datafragments, but we are working to get better results.
Conclusion: It is not because a harddisk has been in a fire that it is a lost case!
